What the app handles
CapPaper lets you capture, import, organize, and search medical records, test reports, and receipts. Report photos, recognized text, family details, and organization data are stored locally on your iPhone. This version requires no account, provides no cloud sync, and does not upload reports to the developer or a third-party recognition service.
Device permissions
You may grant camera access to capture reports and photo library access to import images. If you choose to save an image to Photos, iOS may request permission for that action. You can change permissions in iOS Settings.
Feedback and external services
The app contains no ads or third-party analytics SDKs. Only when you choose to send feedback by email will your message and the attached app version, iOS version, and device model be sent through your chosen mail service to us to handle the feedback. Tapping Rate opens Apple's App Store.
Storage, backups, and deletion
Records remain in the app's local storage and may be included in the iOS device backup you enable. You can delete reports in the app. Uninstalling the app may remove its local records. Before changing devices or uninstalling, verify your backup or export the records you need. We have no server copy to restore.
